The NSS unit of our college functioned meritoriously with 600 NSS Volunteers per year and Six Programme Officers. The NSS volunteers excelled their participation in all the events with vibrant spirit. The following are some of the activities of NSS.

World Yoga Day was observed on 22^nd June 2018. NSS Programme officers Mrs. Mary Sugitha (Unit no. 16), Dr. C. Geetha (Unit no. 149), and Alice Rani (Unit no. 149), Prabhu (Unit no. 17) and 60 NSS volunteers of our Sarah Tucker College, went to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University for the event.

A meeting regarding SWACHH BHARAT was conducted on 6^th July 2018 in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. The NSS Programme officers Mrs. Mary Sugitha (Unit no. 16) and Dr. C. Geetha (Unit no. 149), the NSS volunteers wore gloves and cleanliness kits while in the adaptation. On the same day, there was also a Collateeniee Meeting and our NSS Programme officer Mrs. Sanjivi (Unit no.10) took part in the meeting on behalf of our college. On 15^th August 2018, we celebrated the Independence Day in our college. On that special day, the Head of the Department of Maths (Rego Mrs. Hannah), delivered the speech.

On 24^th August 2018, 120 NSS volunteers and 2 NSS programme officers, Mrs. Mary Sugitha (Unit no. 16) and Dr. Alice Rani (Unit no. 149) along with Agarwal eye Hospital, went for the rally for giving awareness on eye donation.
